Mark Mariotti

Mark Mariotti, beloved son of Thomas and Jo Lynn, brother of Matthew, Julia, and Maria, was born on September 18th, 2000. He left us on Sunday, September 26th, 2021, much too early. Mark was a comedian and an adventurer; much of his time was spent hiking with his friends and family. His humor catered to every personality, making it impossible not to smile and laugh with him. Throughout his life, he carried a dedication to learning about the world; he was especially fascinated by history and martial arts. As a child, he loved dinosaurs and pirates. His best friends were his dogs, Murphy and Max. Mark is survived by his cousins: James, Sean, Christian, Erin, and many others; as well as his aunts and uncles: Michael, Cathy, Carl, Joseph, Richard, Laurie, Patrice, Jeanie, Michael, Noreen, and others. He will be remembered by his family and by his many friends—including those at Oakland University and his alma mater, Churchill High School. At Oakland, he studied accounting as an Honors Student. We will forever treasure each moment that we shared with Mark. His service will be held at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home at 15451 Farmington Road, Livonia, on Thursday, September 30th, 2021. The visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., and the memorial will be held at 7:00 p.m..
