Marion Bilyk

Marion Dorothy (Hewson) Bilyk Died on December 3, 2016 in Livonia, Michigan. She was 85 years old. Marion was pre-deceased by her loving husband of 37 years Ray. She is survived by her beloved children, Marion (Wesley) Krymski, Ann (Jim) Vote, and Ray (Jennifer) Bilyk; her devoted grandchildren, Elizabeth (Matthew) Monahan, Jim (Rachel) Vote, Katie (Michael) Finkenbine, Maggie Vote, Kiara Bilyk, and Devin Bilyk; and her sweet great-grandsons, Lukas and Elijah Finkenbine. She was born in southwest Detroit to Alfred and Marion Hewson on April 17, 1931. Marion loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren to a fault-proudly supporting them in every endeavor. And although she happily lived in Livonia with Ann and Jim's family, for the past 19 years, she was a staunch supporter of her "Detroit." She also loved the Detroit Tigers-through the good and lean years. She also loved to laugh and seeing who could make her laugh the longest became a typical family challenge. A visitation will be held at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Road, Livonia, Michigan 48154, on Tuesday, December 6 , from 4 until 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. Marion will be instate at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 27101 West Chicago Redford, MI 48239 from 10:00 a.m. until her Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Manresa Jesuit Retreat House https://manresa-sj.org/ Please share a memory of Marion by signing her guest book.
