Marilyn B. Johnson December 9, 2007 Loving wife of Paul H. Loving mother of Colleen (Drew) Wolford, Kevin and Karen (Scott) Melby. Sister of Virginia (Frank) Leeds. Also survived by 14 grandchildren. Marilyn was an active member of the Highland Park Baptist Church of Southfield, where she served the Lord in many volunteer capacities, including, as the church librarian for many years. She was a dedicated genealogist. Marilyn and her husband, Paul, made over 20 trips to England, tracing her ancestry to the year 1065, where they found she is a descendant of King Henry II. She was also an active member of the Birmingham chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She will be remembered as a gourmet cook and a gracious hostess. Her entire life has been one of service, first to the Lord, then to her husband, children and grandchildren. Instate at A.J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home 32515 Woodward, Royal Oak, Monday 4-8 PM and Tuesday 1-4 and 7-9 PM. Instate at Highland Park Baptist Church, 28600 Lasher Rd, Southfield, Wednesday from 9:30 AM until time of service at 10:30 AM. Memorial contributions may be directed to Moody Bible Institute, 820 N.
