Marilyn Jane Isles

Marilyn Jane Isles April 29, 1924 - June 23, 2017 It is with full hearts, broken and yet joyful, that we announce the passing into Glory of our mother, Marilyn Jane Isles. She has been an example and witness to us of the most exquisitely refined and patient acceptance of God's will in her life. Age 93, bedridden the last 2 years, she had many family visits at her son's home, but also time to reflect on past days and share her story with us all. She was the beloved daughter of Hilda and Lee Joseph, the wife or Arden, and mother to Robert, Marvin, Larry, Nancy Marie, and Ronald. She leaves at present count 30 grand-children, great-grandchildren, and great-GREAT grandchildren to follow in the path she made possible with her courageous choices over a long and fruitful life. Indeed, we who she leaves behind her can never truly understand all that we owe. As her memories mingle now with our own of a life well-lived in service to God and others, she has gone to a place where there is no more sorrow, no more regret, no anxiety or worry, and no more pain. As our Lord himself reminded us while yet here on earth: "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. " Her last days here on this earth were peaceful and quiet, and we are very grateful. In her honor, a song of hope, reassurance that her suffering has not been in vain, and of celebration of this triumphant close to her days here on earth.
