Marie Ann Welch, age 78, April 5, 2018. Beloved wife of Wallace. Loving mother of Thomas Dale Welch, Julie (George) Keatts, Rita (James) Engle, and Edward (Tara) Welch. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle and a son, Michael Wallace Welch. Dear grandmother of Faith Welch, Nicole Smith, Jason Keatts, Justin Keatts, Heather Keatts, Scott Welch, Dakota Gibson, Chance Engle, Gina Engle, Meadow Welch, Cole Welch, Reid Welch and Seth Welch. Great grandmother of many. Marie is survived by 7 brothers and sisters, of which she is the oldest. She also had her faithful companion, Daisy. Marie raised 2 of her grandchildren while working full time as a bus driver with the Garden City Public Schools. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2pm until 9pm at the RG & GR Harris Funeral Home, 31551 Ford Rd., Garden City. Her funeral service will take place on Friday at 11am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Cadillac Memorial Gardens West.
