Maria Elena Powell Age 75 of Garden City, went home to be with our Lord on February 14, 2018. Beloved wife of Henry Carlo Powell for over 50 years. Dear sister of Orelio, Joseph, and Charlotte. Loving mother of Carlo, Paul (Ava) and Philip (Joan) Powell, and Dolores (Samuel) Aguilera. Dear "Granny" of Camila, Victor, Carlo, Joseph and Maximilian. Also, survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Maria was a member of her church choir, and enjoyed music and spending time with her family. Visitation will be held at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 31551 Ford Rd., Garden City, on Friday from 3-8 PM. Rosary Friday at 7pm. Instate at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 31530 Beechwood Ave., Garden City on Saturday from 9:30 AM until the time of her Funeral Service at 10 AM.
