Margaret Mary Hagel

April 27, 1921 — February 24, 2017

Margaret (Marge) Hagel was called home to see her loving family on February 24th, 2017. She was 95 years young. Her husband, Anton (Tony) Hagel preceded her in death on April 26, 1987. She has left behind many who loved her. Margaret and Tony had two daughters and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved family gatherings, making sure past histories were passed on. From memories, songs or recipes, she did her best to embed these images into their hearts, souls and minds. She was the life of the party. Always had to have her drinks in a "Fancy glass" didn't matter if it was just soda pop. Family gatherings were very important to her. She would host Easter dinner each year, so the family could be together. Marge was predeceased in death by daughter Shirley Wolfe. She leaves behind a loving family that treasured each and every day she was with us. Surviving is her daughter Margo (Richard) Simonian and son-in-law Harry Wolfe. Her grandchildren include: Sean (Hope) Blythe, Scott (Jenni) Wolfe, Dana (Nikki) Wolfe, Carrie (Phil) Mack, Charisse Simonian, and Jason (Deyden) Simonian. Great grandchildren are: Sarah (Matt) Ganser, Corey Blythe, Brandon and Nicholas Wolfe, Paxton Malone, Dominick and Leah Mack, Ryan and Kennedy Wolfe, Rinzin and Kelsang Simonian. Great-great grandchildren are Madi and Conner Ganser. She loved to be involved in all activities including Southfield Seniors, K of C Ladies Auxiliary and 50 and Over Club. Family and friends were her lifeblood. She will be missed each and every day the sun rises and sets. Visitation will be held from 2-9 p.m. Monday, February 27 at Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Road, Livonia, MI 48154.
