Lola Kizlauskas, of West Bloomfield, MI, age 90, went home to be with the Lord on August 4, 2024.
She was the beloved wife to the late Kazys Kizlauskas and dedicated mother to Regina (Lee) Thorne, Jane Kizlauskas Long (John) and the late Tony Kizlauskas. She was also a grandmother to Noelle (Ethan) Puschell and Noah Thorne. She is proceeded in death by her parents and three siblings.
When she met her husband Kazys, he had been recently widowed. Lola was tasked with raising his three children and she threw herself into that role with great devotion to all of them. She was an excellent wife and mother and did her upmost to keep her family well fed, clothed and content.
She and Kazys had a wonderful community of Lithuanian friends. Lola entertained and enjoyed them all. She was dubbed “the hostess with the mostess” by those to came to the house for numerous parties and get togethers. She loved to cook, play golf, travel and keep house. She was a gentle soul and she will be missed by many.
