Linda Karinen

Linda (Ames) Karinen, 80 of Westland, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2024.

Beloved mother of Mark Karinen, Jr (Sharon Kollar) and Shannon Kingzette (Shawn Kingzette). Grandmother to Avryl Westphal. Loving sister of Adrian (Elaine) Ames and Arthur Ames. Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Mark Karinen, Sr., and sister, Janet (Corrine) Ames.

Linda made friends wherever she went and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her in-laws, many nieces and nephews, and friends. She loved animals, having raised and loved many pets over her lifetime.

Family and friends are invited to the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 31553 Ford Road, Garden City, Michigan for a visitation from 3:00 - 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2024. Her funeral service will be held at the same location on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family is encouraging donations to the "American Humane," at: www.americanhumane.org  to support animal welfare.
