Lillian Edith McLeod Born May 5,1925 Cape Breton Island,Nova Scotia,Canada. At 11 months old her family moved to Highland Park ,Michigan where her father started to work for Ford Motor Company. She was preceded in death by her parents Murdock and Gladys McLeod, sister Evelyn (Charlie) Noe and brother Douglas (Betty) McLeod. My Aunt Lillian was never married and could best be described as modest, humble and kind . She attended Moody Bible Institute and graduated in 1949 to become a missionary. From there she became an executive secretary at Northwestern University and then worked for American Medical Association in the same capacity. Lillian and her sister, Evelyn, traveled to many countries such as Italy, Russian, Scotland and Germany. While in Scotland they went to the Isle of Skye where the McLeod Clan originated. Lillian moved from Chicago to Cleveland upon her retirement to be by her sister whom she was very close to.Upon her sister's death she came back to her roots and lived in Livonia to be near her brother Douglas McLeod. A Visitation will be held at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd., Livonia, Tuesday, August 4, 2020 from 9:30 AM until her Funeral Service at 11:30 AM.
