Lila Faye Fite

Lila Faye Fite, 85, Westland, MI passed peacefully on January 15, 2020. Faye was the sweetest person you could ever meet. She had a knack for making everyone she met feel like a friend. Faye's greatest joy was spending time with her family, usually around the kitchen table. She loved the Lord and even as her body began to fail her, Faye's faith only grew stronger. She is preceded in death by her parents Carmack and Corinne (Spurlock) Moore, and her husband Bill Fite. She is survived by her daughter Debra (Fite) Waldon and son Jim Fite (Lesley). Her grandchildren, Sara (Waldon) McClarin (Nelson), Stephanie Waldon, and James Fite; and her great-granddaughter Mia McClarin. She is also survived by her brother Gary Moore. Visitation will be Sunday January 19, 2020 from 2pm until 8pm at RG & GR Harris Funeral Home, 31551 Ford Rd., Garden City. Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 20, 2020, at 11:00 am Instate is at 10:00 am at Merriman Road Baptist Church, 2055 Merriman Rd., Garden City.
