Lawrence Edward Costa

Lawrence Costa of Livonia. Age 46. August 26, 2019. Loving son of Marie and the late Joseph Costa. Dear brother of Jennifer (David) Marr and Maria (James) O’Connell. Uncle of Joseph and David Marr, Sean and Katherine O’Connell. Lawrence’s niece and nephews were his pride and joy. He taught them how to play soccer and basketball, had water fights with them in the summer, and built Hot Wheels tracks for hours to surprise them when they came over. He would jump at any chance to spend time with them. He was always considered the “The Fun Uncle” and loved them dearly. Larry was devoted to his family and took care of them all, especially his mother. He was a regular babysitter for his twin nephews. He was a self-taught mechanic and worked on the family cars. He did odd jobs around the house all the time and would always stop what he was doing to lend a helping hand. He had a passion for bartending and loved being around people. Larry will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Lawrence will be greatly missed by his friends and family. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Aidan's Catholic Church, 17500 Farmington Rd, Livonia on September 28, 2019 at 5:00 PM and a luncheon will follow at 16526 Bell Creek Lane, Livonia.
