Larry Dennis Blanchard

Larry Blanchard, Age 74, born September 18th 1945 of Garden City Mi passed away peacefully in his home on September 13th 2020. He was the beloved husband to the love of his life, the late Sue. Dear Father to Stacey Michelle. Proud Grandfather to Michael (Nick) Smith and Matthew (Alexandrite) Smith. Very loving to all his Nephews, Nieces and Cousins. Preceded in death by his parents Ben and Anna. Also, Brothers Vernon, Ted, Sisters Shirley (James) Holland and Sharon (Bud) Combs. Larry served his country in the Vietnam war with many honors. He volunteered with the Make-a wish foundation and Special Olympics. He retired after 31 years from GM's Hydramatic Willow run Plant as a valued skilled tradesman and a proud member of Uaw Local 735. His passions besides Friends and Family were Golfing, Bowling and Billiards. His love of life and great smile will be missed by all that knew him and his many, many friends.
