Kenneth "Kenny" Roger Grandon, born on January 11, 1970, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away on April 21, 2024, at the age of 54. Kenny was a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone he met. His laughter was infectious, and his spirit was ever generous. The loss of such a radiant soul is felt deeply by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
As a Feldenkrais Practitioner and massage therapist, Kenny's unwavering positivity and adventurous spirit shone through in his work, where he brought comfort and healing to many. His deep love for his family, friends, business associates, and patients was evident in all that he did.
Kenny is survived by his loving mother, Joanne Grandon, his brothers Marcus (Yumiko), John (Ikuho), and Robb (Nicole), his nephews William (Amanda), and Jorma, his nieces Chandlor (Enrique), Risa, and Kassia-Lotus, and his great-niece Emi. He was preceded in death by his father, William “Bill” Roger Grandon.
Born in Detroit and educated at Divine Child High School, (Once a Falcon, Always a Falcon), Central Michigan University, Irene’s Myomassology Institute, and the Feldenkrais Institute of Somatic Psychology. Kenny leaves behind a legacy of kindness, love, and generosity. His positive impact on others will be fondly remembered and cherished. He will forever remain in the hearts of all who loved him.
A Visitation will take place at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd., Livonia, Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 2:00 - 7:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Brain Injury Association of Michigan Auto No-Fault Survival Fund in honor of Kenny's memory.
