Kathryn Toupin

Kathryn Jane Toupin, nee Smith, October 31, 1937 - January 15, 2025.

She was a strong Lady of faith and spirit as a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Dearborn, who spoke her mind with family and friends. She was also an active member of the Dearborn Christian Fellowship. She was loved by her friends and family.  She had a happy and joyous personality, very outgoing with her generous and kind spirit.

She leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, David, Dane and Amanda. Dear great-grandchildren, Amayah, Shawn, Aiden, Airen, Alayanh, Alayah, Brianna and Caleb, and much extended family and friends. She was a dedicated and a very hard-working employee for the Ford Motor Company and had a career that spans 43 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents Hubert and Blanche Smith, her daughters Deborah Passage and Denise Passage, first husband, Daniel Passage and married to her second husband, Albert Toupin for 28 years until his passing in 1997.

Kathryn will be truly missed.

A Memorial Service for Kathryn will be held at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home at 31551 Ford Road, Garden City, on Saturday, February 22nd, at 1:00 p.m.
