Judith "Judi" Marshall

Judith “Judi” Marshall July 13, 1946 to February 26, 2025 Judi Marshall (78) of Livonia, MI passed away on February 26, 2025. Judi was born on July 13, 1946 to Edward and Helen Zyzyk. She was the older sister to Peter Zyzyk. In 1968, Judi married Michael Marshall, and they celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary in 2024. She was the mother of Sean Marshall and mother-in-law to Michele Marshall (Charland). She was a proud Busia to Chase Marshall. Her titles included, but were not limited to, wife, mother, Busia, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a hockey mom and an avid Detroit Red Wings fan. She also enjoyed bowling with Michael and family friends for many years. Starting in 1968, Judi taught elementary education in Taylor Public Schools for 10 years before taking time off to raise her son. She worked with local senior citizens to assist them with managing their homes and finances before returning to education via substitute teaching in Livonia and Redford. Judi resumed full-time teaching at St. Valentine school in Redford. She retired from St. Valentine in 2009. Funeral arrangements will be made in the future.
