God blessed the Earth with the birth of Johnnie Lee Rogers, to the union of the late Walter and Willie Mae Rogers on June 16, 1943, in West Palm Beach, Florida. He was the fourth child (a twin) of seven children. Later, the family migrated to Michigan.
