John Christopher Strauch October 27, 1960 - November 13, 2024

John Christopher Strauch, 64, passed away unexpectedly on November 13, 2024. Born in Dearborn, Michigan on October 27, 1960, John was the beloved son of John Strauch and Bonnie Bihary. He was a retired electrician with IBEW Local 58, having dedicated over 40 years to his craft, earning respect and admiration from colleagues and friends.

John was known for being larger than life. He loved playing hockey with his sons, spending time outdoors, biking and hunting, and spending cherished moments with friends and family at their cottage in Sand Lake.

John is survived by his devoted wife of 36 years, Mariann Strauch; his children, John Strauch (Ashleigh Strauch) and Cody Strauch (Kayla Strauch); and his treasured grandchild, Johnny Strauch. He is also survived by his parents, John Strauch (Debbie Strauch) and Bonnie Bihary (Ray Bihary); his siblings, Lori Strauch, Steve Strauch (Donna Strauch), Wendy Dell (Chris Dell), and Paul Strauch (Cheri Strauch); and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 24th, from 10 AM to 6 PM at RG & GR Harris Funeral Home in Livonia, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to http://www.mucc.org/Strauch. Donations can be accepted after 11/20. John will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
