Joan Peglowski

Peglowski, Joan Farmington Hills, Michigan Her Legacy… Joan Peglowski, 81, passed away January 23, 2019. She was born on September 3, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan to Joseph Lawera and Loretta (Niewedomski) Lawera. Joan married the love of her life, Stanley Peglowski, on June 7, 1958, in Detroit, who preceded her in death on February 8, 2000. Joan was a devout Catholic and volunteered for many years at St. Hilary Catholic Church. She worked as a collection clerk at Community Choice Credit Union for many years. She will be remembered as a good mom and wife and a loving grandma. Her Family… Joan will be missed by her son, David (Deborah) Peglowski; siblings, Denise (Gerald) Kwas, and Jessie Binder; grandchildren, Stephanie (Joe) Gellner and Matthew Peglowski. She is preceded in death by her parents; Joseph and Loretta Lawera; and her grandson, Joseph D. Peglowski in March 8, 2000. Her Farewell… Joan’s family and friends will gather Friday, January 25, 2019 from 4 to 8pm (6:00pm rosary) at R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home 15451 Farmington Rd. Livonia, MI. Her Community Farewell will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 12 Noon (11:30AM Gathering) Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Cause of our Joy Catholic Church 8200 N. Wayne Rd. Westland, MI. Fr. Thomas Belczak will serve as celebrant. Memorial contributions may be given to family for future designation.
