Joan M Kowalewski, age 75, October 30, 2012, of Wyandotte. She was born on October 9, 1937, in Wyandotte, MI to Frank and Lucy Lazarski. Beloved wife of Gerald. Loving mother of David (Michelle) Kowalewski, Alan (Shelley) Kowalewski, the late Raymond Kowalewski, Lucinda (Paul) Santer, Alison (Kenny) Wright, Jerrod (Mary Ellen) Kowalewski and Hilary (John) Borowicz. Dear grandmother of Kyle, Zachary, Spencer, Marshall, Amelia, and Silvie Kowalewski, John, Alex and Jacob Borowicz, Zach and Alli Santer, and Kenny Wright. Sister of Art (Nancy) Lazarski, the late Ed Lazarski, the late Sophie Sikora and the late Irene Gibaratz. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday from 6-9 pm and Friday from 12-9 pm at the Czopek Funeral Home, 2157 Oak St., Wyandotte, MI. Rosary Friday at 6:30 pm. Prayers Saturday at 11 am at the funeral home going to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 976 Pope John Paul II Blvd, Wyandotte, MI for a 11:30 am Mass.
