Jess I. Dawdy

Jess Irvin Dawdy, age 84, August 3, 1927 - February 24, 2012 Son of the late Hubert and Clara Dawdy. Beloved husband for 48 years to Jean. Loving father of Mark (Diane), Douglas (Debbie), Richard (Amanda Spence) and David. Dear grandfather of Nicole, Colton, Adam and Ashlynne. Also survived by brothers, Lee (Fran), Hubert and James (Helen). Uncle Jess was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. He proudly served his country as a Navy Veteran. He faithfully served the City of Dearborn for almost 40 years, retiring as the Police Ordinance Supervisor. Funeral Service Thursday, 11am, at the R.G. & G.R.
