Jerry Wayne Waldon, 75, of Westland, MI passed peacefully surrounded by his family on September 20, 2019. He is survived by his beloved wife Debra (Fite) Waldon, eldest daughter Vicki Waldon, son Wayne Waldon (Amber), daughter Sara (Waldon) McClarin (Nelson) and daughter Stephanie Waldon. His grandkids Nathan, Essence, Ebony, Ciara, Ashlyn, Mia, and Bailey; and his great-grandkids Kahlani and Ke'Monti. He is also survived by his sisters Etta Strong (Bob), Janet Tobin, and brother John Waldon. Jerry was a hard working, selfless man who always put his family first. He was an avid golfer, traveler, and fan of all things with a motor. A true jack-of-all-trades, his favorites hobbies were tinkering with his motorcycle, corvette, and around his home. He lived a full life doing exactly what he loved: traveling with his wife of 33 years and spending time with his kids and grandkids. He found the greatest solace riding his Harley on the open road with the wind in his face. Visitation will be held Monday, September 23 at R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home from 2 pm to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, September 24 at 11:00 am Instate at 10:00 am at Merriman Road Baptist Church. Please share a memory of Jerry on his tribute wall.
