Jason Jones

Jason L. Jones, affectionately known as Toast, was born to Adrienne Jones and Michael Scott on June 13, 1986, in Detroit, Michigan. Jason accepted Christ in 1995 while attending church with his grandmother, Elizabeth Jones.  Jason was educated in the Detroit Public Schools from 1991 to 1996 before attending Lansing Public Schools. Jason graduated high school in 2003 from Peckham Vocational School.

Jason always had a straightforward attitude about everything. Jason was a loving Father, Son, Grandson, Brother, Uncle, Companion, and Friend.  As an adult, Jason worked at Peckham Industries in Lansing, Michigan, Dart Container in Mason, Michigan, and Americold in Indianapolis, Indiana, showing leadership skills. On January 14, 2024, God touched Jason on the shoulder and called him home. He was preceded by his father, Michael Scott, his grandfather, Oliver Jones, and his grandmother, Elizabeth Jones.

Cherishing his memory, his heart/ daughter Jatasha Semaj Jillz Jones, Adrienne Jones (mother), his siblings Gregory Jones (Ashly) of El Paso TX, April Jones of Detroit MI, Shatonia Wilson of Detroit MI. Nieces Kayla, Lauren, and Zoe. Nephews Savionne and Xavier. A great-niece Zaria, and a host of cousins, aunts, and uncles.
