James "Jimmy" Lhamon of Howell, age 76, passed away on December 14, 2023.
Beloved husband of Nancy for 30 years. Loving father of James, Jr. (Tracy) Lhamon, Jill (Travis) Linden, Robert (Stacey) Lhamon, Janarae (Stanley) Wieckowski, Jared (Jenette) Lhamon and Nanette (Jeff) Davis. Dear grandfather of Stephen, Jamie, Connor, MacKenzie, Evan, Olivia, Karissa, Tommy, Stanley, Cooper, Sophia, Brooke, Hannah, Julia, Emma (Luke) and Noah. Great grandfather of Alice, Evelyn and Tanner. Brother of Deborah (Tony) Petkus.
Jimmy grew up in Garden City where he was involved in many sports. He was a proud graduate of Howe Military School in Indiana and cherished the friends and experiences he had there. He went on to work his way up through CAST a Belgium based logisics company and moved all over the world. He retired from there and started Global Agencies LTD.
While Jimmy was a successful businessman, his passion was bowling. He coached youth bowling all over Greater Detroit and was involved in many youth programs. He carted his kids all over the country for their various bowling tournaments. He himself was an advid bowler and is a past President of the Greater Detroit Bowing Association. He made so many lasting friendships with people of all ages through the bowling industry. Jim was also a huge Redwings and Detroit Tigers fan.
Jim was most proud of his wife and very large family above all.
A visitation will be held at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd., Livonia, Sunday, December 17, 2023 from 1:00 - 8:00 PM and on Monday, December 18th from 9:00 AM until his Funeral Service at 10:00 AM.
