Jacqueline "Jackie" Marlowe

Jacqueline “Jackie” Marlowe, age 85, of Livonia, passed on August 11, 2017. Beloved wife of Dave and proud mother of Gregg (Kim) and the late Susan. Adoring grandmother of Kevin (Annette) and Jenny (Matt) Murdza and great grandmother of Addy, Emmy, and Mia. Jackie was raised in East Laroy Michigan, but later moved to the Detroit area to raise her family. She was known to many in the community as “Miss Jackie” as she ran the nursery at the Livonia YMCA for many years and later worked at the Jackson Center. Jackie was so proud of her family and loved all her friends as though they were family. She enjoyed playing Bingo, gardening, and shopping around town. She had a heart of gold and never met a stranger. Her generosity and genuine kindness touched so many lives. She will be dearly missed. Funeral service Wednesday at 1pm at the RG & GR Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd., Livonia. Visitation Tuesday from 3pm until 8pm. There will also be a short service followed by her burial in Sherwood, MI.
