Jackie Lee Bailey Jr., “Papa”, of Redford, MI passed away April 19, 2021 at 63 from a stroke. He was born at home in South Shore, KY June 19, 1957. He was married September 19,1988. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Laura Leigh Bailey; his children Bobi Biederman (David), James Nowosielski (Katrina), Amanda Bailey, Dustin Ross and Jennifer Damron; his grandchildren Brandon Biederman, Xander Biederman, Isabella Biederman, Rosalie Biederman, Michael Biederman and Charlie Biederman, James (Trey) Nowosielski III, Jaxen Nowosielski, Madison Nowosielski, Kaden Wollschlager “Big Boy,” Gracelynn Ross, Aubrey Ross, Jayden Damron, Kara Damron and Emmaly Damron; his brothers/ Jeff Bailey, Greg Bailey (Tanya) and Ryan Bailey (Stacy); sisters Diana Bays (Brian), Debbie Hayslip (Kenny), Brenda Bailey, and Loretta Frost (John) and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Jackie Lee Bailey Sr. and Nanny Skidmore Bailey. Lee was a retired paver operator for Nagle Paving Company. He was a dedicated husband. He loved hanging out with his wife going to the zoo and Greenfield Village, riding his bike, traveling with his camper, being out on his boat fishing and being outdoors. He spent a lot of his time with his dogs, Luna, Rio and Cricket and bird, Ollie. He enjoyed playing his slots on the computer, listening to Elvis and George Jones and watching “Live PD.” He looked forward to answering the “question of the day” on Alexa. One of his proudest accomplishments was that he quit smoking in April 2010. He loved spending time with his grandkids in person and on FaceTime and wanted to be remembered as a devoted papa. He will be remembered for “the eye” and the “Papa promise.” He loved to make people laugh! As per his wishes, he was cremated and there will be no service. He will be forever missed.
