Irene E. Javery (Baier)

Irene E. (Baier) Javery 88, of Westbrook Street, passed on Thursday, May 29, 2008 at Angela Hospice Care Center of Livonia. Her husband of 35 years, Milton H. Javery, Sr., passed in 1979. She leaves 3 children, Milton H. Javery, Jr. of Commerce Twp.; Beryl J. Kaleno of Livonia and Steven M. Javery of Southgate, one sister, Flora Whittier of Sutton, MA.; 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Born in Clinton, MA, daughter of Henry and Sandra (Karvonen) Baier, she lived in Massachusetts and Florida prior to moving to Michigan in 1969. She graduated from Sutton High School, Sutton, MA. She also attended the Boston Cooking School of Culinary Science. In recent years she enjoyed Ballroom dancing, rug weaving and gardening, among other interests. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, June 2 at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd., Livonia (just North of 5 Mile Rd.) with visitation from 11:00 AM until time of service.
