Hedwig Dyderski

February 18, 1936 — June 3, 2022

Hedwig Dyderski, of Livonia, age 86, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2022 at The Willows at Howell. She was born on February 18, 1936 in Kaduszki, Poland and the youngest child of Edmund and Helena (Kaduszkiewicz) Zuk. Living most of her childhood through WWII in camps Hedy became a survivor and was determined to take in all that life had to offer. Hedy came to America through Ellis Island on August 6, 1949. She graduated from St Florian HS in 1955. 66 years ago, Hedy met the love of her life, Casemir Dyderski, on Bob-Lo Island. They married on August 3,1957 in Detroit, MI at St Florian Church in Hamtramck. Even though she was a shy girl Hedy had boundless energy, charismatic smile, and the voice of an angel. She was strikingly beautiful with the most beautiful soft blue eyes and glowing skin and always had a contagious smile on her face. Hedy was a great mother who loved her family and was the best cook. No one was to mess with her kitchen. Her home was always open and was a happy comfortable place. When you left you were never hungry and had a sense of contentment within your heart. She loved God and had a strong faith. She took great pride in her family, home, and her appearance. She was a happy, hardworking, strong woman with an amazing heart. She was also a stubborn Polish individual. She instilled within us determination, strong work ethic and the drive to obtain what you want in life. Her children are left with memories of a happy fun childhood. We are blessed to have stories that make us laugh that we can share and still talk about. Her knowledge, wisdom and never-ending stories will be held forever within our hearts. We already miss the love she had for us, her phone calls, and her homemade polish cooking.
