Hazel Burman

Hazel Burman, age 89, August 3, 2014, longtime resident of New Jersey. Born February 1, 1925, in Almo, Kentucky, to the late George and Edna Linn. Beloved wife of the late Russell. Loving mother of Kenneth (Barbara) Burman and Patricia (Jim) Johnson. Dear grandmother of Kristen (Keith) Thompson, and Jessica, Matthew and Leigh Johnson. Great grandmother of 3. Hazel graduated from Almo High School in 1943, where she earned a varsity letter as a cheerleader. Following her marriage to Russell, she became a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. In her later years, she had several part-time jobs "just for fun", and was active in her local church. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 4pm (instate at 3pm) at the R.G. & G.R.
