George L. Noble

Noble, George Luke, Age 89, September 3, 2004. Beloved father of Marilyn Atwell, Pamela (Ray)Daves, Luke (Debbie) Noble and Heather (Jeff Shankin) Noble. Dear brother of Ruth Brooks. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.Funeral service at R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 31551 Ford Rd., Garden City on Tuesday, at 7:30 P.M. Visitation from 5:00 until the time of the service. Mr. Noble attended Central High School and Lettered in Cross Country Track in 1931. He also was a WW II veteran of The United States Army. He was a Mason and a Shriner, and he worked for Twin-Pines Dairy as a milkman. Mr. Noble was very involved in his community, he helped place the Veterans Memorial in Westland, President of PTA for Wayne-Westland Schools and also sponsored many boy scout troops.
