George W. Eastep Of Canton, age 79, July 20, 2018. Loving father of Beth Eastep, Kevin (Barbara VanLinden) Eastep and Kim (Mark) Kedroske. Dear grandfather of Brandon, Chelsea, Jonathan, Jacob, Emily and Andrew. Great grandfather of Brandon “Little Guy”, Caiden and a third great grandchild on the way. Brother of Arlene Valko, Richard (Virginia) Eastep, Phyllis Fritzley, Patsy Dowdy and Kenneth (Janette) Eastep and the late Dolores Eastep, Shirley Lyons, Barbara Hitt and Betty (Don) Little. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. George has always put his family first in every aspect of life. He was a loving father, brother, son, grandfather, uncle, great grandfather , god father and friend. He was a Marine, a volunteer Hernando County Firefighter, Big Brother Big Sister organization, Elks of Brooksville, and volunteer in countless community events in Michigan and Florida. He always wanted to help and take care of those who needed it. Funeral Service will be held at R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 31551 Ford Rd., Garden City, Wednesday at 10 am. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 1 – 9 pm. In lieu of flowers it would be greatly appreciated if monitary donations would be made to help cover the cost of funeral arrangements.
