Franklin Walsh

LIVONIA - Franklin W. Walsh of Livonia, passed away on May 30, 2018 at the age of 95. He was the beloved husband of the late June M. Walsh; loving father of Carl Terry and his wife Kathleen, Valeri and her husband Daniel Laho, Sharon and her husband Gary Chretien. He was the proud Grandfather of 6, Great Grandfather to 13 and Great Great Grandfather of 3. He was predeceased by his father, mother and seven siblings. Franklin served in the Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps during World War II in the United Kingdom and Continental Europe. He was awarded the France & Germany Star, the Defense Medal and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal. He spent 35 years at Burnham Stoepel in Detroit as their Merchandise Manager. He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, wood working and refinishing furniture. He will be missed byall who had the pleasure of knowing him.
