Florence Virginia Owens of Garden City, age 92, July 5, 2021. Loving mother of James (Diana) Owens and Lois (Bill Acker) Kerr and the late Rodney S. Owens. Dear grandmother of Rodney D. (Lisa), Jill (Aaron), Katie, Charlena, Jessica (Brett), Kara, Cassandra (Mitchell) and the late Timothy. Dear great grandmother of Hailey, Will, Emma, Isabella, Kamden, Peyton and Rylee. Virginia was a teacher with Garden City Public Schools for 42 years. A memorial service will be held at R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 31551 Ford Road, Garden City, Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 2 pm, with visitation from 11 am - 2 pm. Memorials to Michigan Humane Society.
