Florence I. Grace

Florence I. Grace, age 88, July 10, 2021, of Garden City. Beloved wife of the late Joseph. Loving mother of Richard (Patti), Gail (Dennis) Celmer, Catherine Closser, Karen Grace, Timothy (Gail), Beth Barnes, Mark (Devona), Dennis, Mary (Michael) Jones, Laura (Robert) Hoeft, Carol McKenna, Joseph (Shannon) and the late Christine. Florence was blessed with 108 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, and took great pleasure in sharing this with others. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Joan Pullen, Peggy Ostrosky and Marian “ Chic” Polkowski. She was a member of SS Simon and Jude Catholic Church and a proud member of the Mother Cabrini Guild. Florence was a remarkable seamstress and avid traveler. Her family was her world. Visitation Thursday from 2-8pm at the RG & GR Harris Funeral Home, 31551 Ford Rd., Garden City, MI. Rosary Thursday at 7pm. Funeral mass Friday at 10am (instate at 9:30am) at SS Simon and Jude Catholic Church, 32500 Palmer Rd, Westland, MI 48186. Interment in Cadillac Memorial Gardens West.
