Esther E. Powlison

Esther Elaine Powlison (nee Gordon) Age 86. Went to be with the Lord Aug. 25, 2011. Loving mother of Joyce Sterner, Earl, Rene Brenneman and Darryl. Dear grandmother of 19 and great-grandmother of 12. She was preceded in death by her late beloved husband Paul. Esther was a homemaker, nurse, linguist, editor, and prayer-warrior with a lively sense of humor. She once entered a pie into a contest laced with an entire bottle of tobasco sauce. Visitation at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd., Livonia, Friday 2- 7 PM and Instate at Highland Park Baptist Church, 28600 Lahser, Southfield, Saturday from 10 until Funeral Service at 11 AM.
