Elizabeth Fleming Buntine, a longtime resident of Farmington Hills, and a proud native of Kilsyth, Scotland, passed away in the loving arms of her family on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at the age of 95. She was born on March 29, 1925 in Kilsyth, Scotland. Elizabeth was the youngest of seven children of George and Jean Curl. Elizabeth met her future husband, John Buntine, at church and were married August 15, 1947 at their church in Kilsyth. The couple was blessed with a daughter, Jeanie. In 1952 John made his way to Detroit, Michigan to set up a new future. Elizabeth and Jeanie followed in August. A few years later they were blessed again with the birth of their son, Brian. John passed away in March of 2017, just a few months before their 70th anniversary. Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Jeanie (Ken) Lewis; son Brian (Susan) Buntine; grandchildren Heather Lewis, Shari (Kyle) Brown, Jason (Jen) Buntine, Kevin and Brandon Buntine. Great grandchildren Jillian, Rachel, Mallory, Jacob and Aaron. A visitation will be held at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd., Livonia, Thursday from 11 AM until her Funeral Service at 2 PM. All will be asked to wear a facemask.
