Elizabeth "Betty" Bjarnensen

Elizabeth "Betty" Bjarnesen of Livonia, age 86 Elizabeth (Betty) Bjarnesen (DiPaola) “Betty B” died on October 6, 2018 at St. Mary’s hospital in Livonia, after a short illness. Betty was born on February 20, 1932 in Gary, Indiana. She married her beloved husband Gunnar Bjarnesen on January 22, 1955. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Olivia and Albert DiPaola, her sister, Marian (Tootie) Caroselli, and her granddaughter, Courtney Hilt. She is loved and will be missed by her five children, David (Carol) Bjarnesen, Kathy (Larry) Baker, Nancy (Dale) Hilt, Mary (Mike) Petersen, and Frank (Linda) Bjarnesen, and her four granddaughters Meghann Bjarnesen, Samantha Hilt, Haley (Trevor) King, and Carly Bjarnesen, as well as nieces, nephews and several grandchildren and great grandchildren embraced by the family through marriage. Visitation will be held at R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Road, Livonia, on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 1 to 9 PM. Funeral Service will be held at St. Aidan Catholic Church of Livonia, 17500 Farmington Road, Livonia, on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 9:30 PM with Instate starting at 9 AM.
