Elaine M. Burton

Elaine M. Burton, long-time resident of Garden City, age 101, passed away peacefully in her home of 68 years, surrounded by love.

Beloved wife of the late Vincent.  Loving mother of Joseph (Debbie) Burton, Jeanne (the late Don) Cothran, Diane (Greg) Wiza, Kevin (Jeanna) Burton, Marilou (Russ) Pett, Carolyn Camfield and the late Dave (Linda) Burton, Jim Burton, Denny Burton, Norman Burton, Julie Burton, and Bobby Burton.  Dearest grandmother of 22, great grandmother of 21 and great- great grandmother of 1.  Dear sister of Norene Trujillo and the late Duane Trombley, Margaret Brownhill, Audrey Koch, Joyce Mikkola, Don Trombley and Mike Trombley.  Also, survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Elaine spent her life as a homemaker and had an open-door policy where family and friends were always welcome to drop by or for an extended stay.  She was loved by everyone who knew her and was known by many outside the family as Mom Burton/Grandma Burton.

A visitation will be held at R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 31551 Ford Road, Garden City, Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm, with a funeral service at 5:00 pm.

Memorials to "Hope to Hope Hospice," or to the family toward a memorial bench or brick to be placed in Garden City.
