Edward Joseph Bernhardt

Bernhardt, Edward Joseph Croswell, Michigan His Legacy… Edward Joseph Bernhardt, 89, passed away February 25, 2019. He was born on October 31, 1929, in Detroit, Michigan to William Larkin Bernhardt and Corinne (Garant) Bernhardt. Edward married the love of his life, Mary Ann Bernhardt, on June 10, 1950, who preceded him in death on February 27, 2015. He worked for International Harvester for 42 years till retired in 1992. Edward loved to go bowling, play golf, was a member of the Lion’s Club and Right to Life of Sanilac County. He will be remembered as a happy go lucky, loving, kid friendly man who was devoted and involved in everything. His Family… Edward will be missed by his children, Joseph (Mary) Bernhardt, Carl (Pat) Bernhardt, and Corrine (Ric) Cudini; siblings, Nancy Bernhardt, and Joseph Bernhardt; he has 15 grandchildren, and 25 1/2 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Bernhardt and his son, Eric (Sheila) Bernhardt. His Farewell… Edward’s family and friends will gather Sunday, March 3, 2019 from 2:00-6:00pm at R.G &G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Road, Livonia, Michigan. His Mass of Christian Burial will be held on March 4, 2019 at 10:30am, 10:00am gathering at Saint Linus Catholic Church, 6466 N. Evangeline Street, Dearborn Heights, Michigan. Father Patrick Stoffer will serve as celebrant. Memorial contributions are suggested to Right to Life of Michigan.
