Dylan Starks

Dylan Thomas Starks, age 30, of Redford, Michigan passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023 in Detroit, Michigan.

A Visitation will be at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home in Livonia, MI from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, June 23rd.

A Memorial Service will be held  at 2:00 P.M, Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Grace Baptist Church in Livonia, MI with Pastor Jason Gear as officiant, with a Visitation preceding from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service.

Dylan Thomas Starks was born on April 7th, 1993 in Grayling, the son of Jim and Jodi Starks (Denno), and Richard and Emilee Dowland. He graduated from Redford Union High School in 2012.

Dylan enjoyed his various occupations in the fast-food industry where he always was able to put a smile on his customers face. His favorite activities were playing video games, watching sports, going to movies, arcades, bowling and attending live sporting events - especially Michigan Football games with his best friend and cousin Justin Denno along with traveling to Florida to spend time with his little buddy Easton Thomas Denno. Dylan loved his Detroit Sports - Red Wings, Pistons, Lions and the Plymouth Whalers when they existed. When Dylan was younger, he would often spend his summers up north in Frederic, Michigan at his Grandma and Grandpa Denno’s house where he could spend time with his favorite uncle Ryan and cousin Justin.

Dylan was known for his sense of humor, sarcasm, goofy personality and jokes that would put a smile on everyone’s face. Dylan really had a heart of gold and was very caring of his family and close friends. Dylan took pride in irritating his baby sister that he had a special bond with, Kayla.

Dylan is survived by his loving family: Parents Jim and Jodi Starks (Denno), Richard and Emilee Dowland; Siblings: Kayla Starks, Andrea (Grant) Plowman; Grandparent: Linda Starks; Great Grandparent: Eva Hulbert

Dylan was preceded in death by his Grandparents Thomas and Ann Denno, Zachary Taylor; Great Grandparents Michael and Phyllis Silardi, Doris Space; Great-Great Grandparents Walter and Eva Desnoyers, Elmer and Abbey Reffner; Uncles Thomas Ryan Denno and Robert Silardi.
