Duane N. Tarbet

Duane Tarbet of Pinckney, Michigan, age 75, passed away peacefully November 20, 2023.

Duane was born February 27, 1948. In Detroit, MI to parents David and Mary (Vaughn) Tarbet. Duane was a proud veteran. He served our country in the US Marines during the Vietnam war as an anti-tank platoon Sargent. Duane retired after 33 years of service to the Ford Motor Company, Livonia Transmission Plant.

Beloved father of Duane (Angela) and Ryan (Malissa) Tarbet.  Loving grandfather of Vaughn and Jamya Tarbet.  Dear brother of the late David Tarbet and Deanna Zieske.

He was an amazing father and taught his boys to enjoy every moment life has to offer. Family to him was a nurturing place of faith, order, truth, love, happiness, and relaxation. His hobbies were fitness, sports, pets and caring for the elderly. Duane was best known for his love of life and sense of humor.

A visitation will be held at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd., Livonia, Friday, December 1, 2023 from 11:00 AM until his Funeral Service at 1:00 PM with military honors.
