Dorothy Kaiser

Dorothy Caroline Louise Klawuhn Kaiser, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 23, 2011, surrounded by her family. She had just enjoyed her 100th birthday milestone with a celebration attended by friends and family. Dorothy was born July 3, 1911, in Detroit, Michigan, to Otto and Emma Klawuhn. She graduated from Detroit Redford High School in 1929. Dorothy was employed by the Fred Sanders Company as a manager of the Highland Park store during the 1930’s. She was married to US Army Air Corps Sgt. Leonard G. Kaiser on April 29, 1943, a union that lasts today. Dorothy worked for more than 20 years for Doctors Rosbolt and Schildberg at in their office at 30730 Ford Rd. in Garden City. She was preceded in death by her parents Otto and Emma (Tillman), Brother Gilbert, Her Sweetheart and Beloved Husband Leonard, and Aunt Margaret Tillman Raymus (Duncan). She is survived by her daughter Patricia C. Kaiser McCloud; three grandchildren; Scott William McCloud (Elaine), Aaron Leonard McCloud (Angela) , Brook Elizabeth Dorothy McCloud Johnson (Clark); great-grandson Timothy Robert Bradley Johnson III; godchildren Deborah Amolsch Limbaugh (Fred), Diana Amolsch Brusinski (Dennis), Dorothy Amolsch Frazer (Dennis), numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends and acquaintances who loved her so dearly. Funeral service Wednesday, at 1pm, at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 31551 Ford Rd., Garden City. Visitation Tuesday from 5-9pm at the funeral home. Interment in Glen Eden Cemetery, Livonia.
