Dorothy (Dottie) Irene Blayer, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2024, in Dallas, Texas.

She was born on December 11, 1930 in Adrian, Pennsylvania, to John and Anna Oshlick. She was a resident of Euless, Texas. She married Henry Blayer on May 26, 1956, in Rossiter, Pennsylvania. She enjoyed her job at the American Airlines SRO store. She loved seeing all the people and making them smile! Dottie enjoyed making a nice home for her family and growing beautiful flowers in her yard. Family was always first for Dottie. She was proud of her 7 grandchildren, along with a great grandchild and one arriving soon! Dottie always had the ability to make anyone smile and laugh! Her family thought of her as the energizer bunny! She is preceded in death by her husband Henry Blayer. She had three daughters, Rita Garret (Ken), Carolyn Wilson (Larry), and Jennifer Blayer-Thornton (Paul).


A Visitation was held at Brown Owens & Brumley Family Funeral Home in Fort Worth, Texas on Tuesday, May 7, 2024.  A Funeral Service was held at St. Michaels in Bedford, Texas on Wednesday, May 8, 2024.

A Committal Service will be held at the St. Hedwig Cemetery, Dearborn Heights, Michigan on Friday, May 10, 2024 at 1:15 PM.
