Dorothy Ann (Medor/Hinkley) Alexander, of Westland, MI. June 7, 2007. Age 85. Beloved mother of Mary Lou (Chuck) Thompson, Shirley (James) Guthrie, Connie (Faye) Williams, Betty Green, Trudy (Nick) Withun/Gasvoda, June (Charlie) Wooten, Patricia (Gary) Greenfield, stepdaughter Karen (David) Gehrls, and long-time loving partner Thomas Ward. She was preceded in death by daughter Billie Ann Hinkley, stepdaughter Barbara (Thomas) Dege and husbands Leon Hinkley, Jack Moffett and Phil Alexander. She leaves siblings Helen Fischer, June Muckle, Joe Medor and Betty Byce. She is also survived by many grandchildren. Dorothy worked over 30 years at Income Tax Place of Dearborn and was still actively employed at the time of death. Prior to moving to Westland, Dorothy was a licensed beautician in Alpena during the years she and husband Leon raised a houseful of daughters without benefit of even one son!
