Debra J. Durkee

Debra J. Durkee of Livonia, age 69, went home to be with the Lord peacefully on January 2, 2022. Beloved wife of Bill for 48 years and loving mother of Amy (Matt) Schmidt, Chad (Lauren) Durkee, and Caitlin (Giorgio) Urso. Dear grandmother of Tyler, Matthew, C.J., Avery, Natalie, Alexander, and Joshua. Sister of Dennis Sapienz, and the late Beth Slayton. Sister-in-law of Kathy (Jerry) Agrusa, Bob (Angela) Durkee, and Carole Waldowski. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Not only was Debbie a faithful and humble servant of the Lord, she was always willing to help her family and friends with whatever they asked. Her abilities were endless and she took on every task with great energy, detail and perseverance. Her kindness and patience were appreciated by all. Debbie never needed glory but always radiated His glory! A visitation will be held at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd, Livonia, on Friday, January 7, 2022 from 4 PM until 8 PM. Visitation to continue at Bell Creek Community Church, 30000 Five Mile Rd, Livonia Saturday, January 8 starting at 10 AM until her Funeral Service at 11 AM. A luncheon will be provided at the church following the Funeral Service.
