David George Marlowe

Marlowe, David George age 86 of Livonia, passed on June 12, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Jackie and proud father of Dave (Kim) and the late Susan. Treasured grandfather to Jenny (Matt) Murdza and Kevin (Annette) Marlowe and great grandfather to Addy, Emmy, and Mia. Dave was raised in Athens Michigan and attended Albion College where he played baseball. Proud member of the United States Air Force and Korean War veteran, Dave moved to Detroit after his military service to raise his family where he enjoyed a successful 39 year career at Burroughs Corporation. Although an avid fan of all sports he was a true Michigan Wolverine to the core. His real love was spending time at his lake home on Oliverda Lake and Winter months in Venice Florida where he enjoyed golfing with his buddies. Known as a great friend to many and role model to his family, Dave will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Lung Association, American Heart Association or Angel Hospice would be appreciated. Visitation will be at Harris Funeral Home, Farmington Rd. in Livonia June 28th from 2-7pm. Visitation also at Lighthouse Funeral Home in Union City Michigan Saturday June 30th 10-12pm.
