Darlene Ann Trotter

Darlene Ann Trotter Of Redford, age age 90, died peacefully in her longtime home on January 21, 2022. Darlene was born in Sebawaing, Michigan to Nickolas Nagy and Carol (Reed) Nagy. Darlene loved her mother Carol very much along with her Stepfather Wally Reed. Many of her favorite memories were of her mother. She is the Beloved wife of the late Gordon Trotter for 63 years. Beloved mother of Patrick Hayes, Timothy Hayes, James Trotter, Carol (Ken) Wilding and John Trotter. Her son James Trotter took care of her for many years and allowed her to stay in her own home. Dearest grandmother of Gordon Wilding, Renne (Trotter) Ladipaolo, Nicole Trotter, Kristine Trotter, John Trotter Jr, Jacob Trotter, Elizabeth Trotter, Ryan and Carly Hayes. Darlene and Gordon raised their granddaughter Elizabeth Trotter and were a very special part of her life. She is also survived by many great grandchildren. Darlene was a fabulous cook and wonderful mother/grandmother. She touched the lives of all who met her with her warm giving nature. Darlene was a Christian woman who embodied the spirit of goodwill and acceptance. She will be cremated and then buried at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly Michigan with her husband Gordon on a TBD date when the weather breaks.
