Cathy D. Haas

Cathy D. Haas Age 60, November 2, 2016. Beloved wife of Tom. Loving mother of Christine (Kenneth) Douglass and Kimberly Haas. Dear grandmother of Joshua and Jacob. Cathy loved her family and dogs beyond measure. Her two grandsons, Joshua (4) and Jacob (15 months) were her world. Hours were spent coloring pictures, playing "Super heros", and going to the park. The boys always got excited to see grandma! Cathy would spend Saturdays thrift store and garage sale shopping with her daughters and that usually ended with lunch. She enjoyed going to antique stores and running errands with Tom. Even the day-to-day routine was madE to be fun! Cathy loved animals. Whenever she saw an animal running without a leash she would pull over and take her spare leash from the trunk and bring them home. Cathy loved her two rescued dogs Simon and Bella and they were often her therapy in her last few months as they sat on the couch with her. Cathy loved reading and it always amazed her family how quickly she could finish a good book. Fall was her favorite time of year, she loved watching the leaves change, visiting the cider mill, and walking her dogs in the park looking at the leaves. Cathy was loved by so many and we cherish every moment and memory. A Memorial Visitation will take place at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd., Livonia, Saturday, November 12th from 9 a.m. until her Memorial Service at 12 Noon. Please share a memory of Cathy by signing her guestbook.
