Carolyn "Diane" Arquette

Diane Arquette of Garden City, passed away on July 19, 2024, at the age of 78. Beloved mother of Michael and Philip Graham, and Ricky Arquette, (who preceded her in death in 2006), and Denise Ann Bennett (daughter-in-law) who Diane referred to as her daughter. Grandmother of Trisha Mary Graham, and Angela Johnson, and great grandmother to Zacharias Bermejo and Josh Benton. Loving sister of Jean Harris. Nephew to Randy (Ella) Harris. Cousin to Richard "David" (Anne) Graham, and their daughter Amy. Niece of Martha "Yvonne" Henry. Diane is also survived by dear friends Cathy Town of 40 years, Bob Bohley, Gail Koslowski, and Cindy Cox. Diane was born in 1945, in Rome, Georgia (Floyd County), to Charles Wallace and Doris (Loudermilk) Kirkham. She was a proud Medical Transcriptionist who thoroughly enjoyed her profession and developed many friendships from her work. She loved her family and spent her retirement enjoying her home, her beloved exotic birds, and dining at restaurants with friends and family. She especially enjoyed traveling to California and spent time up and down the coast. She had an independent and feisty spirit but could be subdued with chocolate, ice cream, or a bouquet of roses and would present you with a great big smile of gratitude. Diane kept herself fit, enjoyed shopping and had a beautiful wardrobe which contained beautiful gowns she wore at ballroom dancing events that she participated in for many years.
