Carie Marie Gors

Carie M. Gors, nee Lukas , Affectionately known as Kitty, passed away on November 3, 2024, at the age of 56, in Livonia, MI. Born on June 9, 1968, in Detroit, she grew up to be a loving and caring Individual, often described as someone who put others before herself. Her innate ability to nurture and support was evident in every aspect of her life, always providing help with a heartfelt intention. Carie’s passions included crafting, decorating, and event planning, which not only brought joy to her life but also beautified the lives of those around her. She had a unique flair for transforming spaces and occasions into beautiful scenes, creating memorable experiences for all involved. She leaves behind a loving family: her husband Bill; sons Joseph and Michael; granddaughters Kira and Violet; her mother Mary and her father Gilbert; and her sister Terry. Her presence will be profoundly missed but fondly remembered through the beautiful moments she created and the loving care she extended to her family and friends. A visitation will be held at the R.G. and G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd., Livonia, MI. Friday, November 8, 2024 from 2:00 PM until her Memorial Service at 6:00 PM.
